So I'm having an issue at one of my sites. I'm kinda new but have a decent grasp of how things work with Nortel.
We helped a lady properly forward a wireless Cisco phone into a 2008 nortel phone and once we try to call the Cisco phone it rings for 3 or 4 rings and then forwards into the Meridian phone. Then once that rings for about 4 rings...we want it to go to the nortels Voicemail box that is setup up to use Meridian Mail. Everytime we try to call and leave a voicemail, we get a message stating that "You have been forwarded to a voicemail system, however the person at 7855 is not subscribed to this service...good bye". Now 7855 is the wireless Cisco phone, and the 4014 is the nortel phone. We don't have a Cisco Voicemail system at this site.
I'm stumped as to why when it's forwarding to the nortel phone it's not trying to connect to the meridian mail, as the way it should.
