Hello,

I have a "headless" appliance server that has a built-in ethernet switch, but no means of connecting any USB/PCI/SCSI/Parallel backup devices.

I was thinking about obtaining a USB backup device and using a USB/Ethernet converter. However, I continue to have difficulties find all the components that are compatable with RedHat kernel 6.2.12-20.

I know this looks strange, but has anyone attempted this configuration. If so, what products did you use? If not, can you suggest a better solution.

Thanks....

Thanks for the suggestion Bill, but iSCSI is a fairly highend solution. I'm looking for bargin basement solutions. This is for an executive home or small business solution.

Again, thanks for the suggestion.
