We have a Merlin Magix system and an Octel Voice Mail system. There is a dedicated line that comes in from the BellSouth. I don't know if this line is hooked up anywhere, but it rings at the operator station. It displays the number on the LCD screen.
An automated attendant is setup through the octel voice mail system. In the V-tree each extension you call is setup with no voice mail.
I try disabling the automated attendant but as soon as an incoming call reaches the operator desk, it rings once and is then put into the sytem to be routed. Press 1 if you want to speak to..... Press 2 if you want to...., etc....
I am starting to think it is something other than the automated attendant, but I have no clue what it may be. If you disable the automated attendant you aren't required to reboot are you?
