Hi Guys -

This is my first time trying to build an ACD phone. I've done other phones, but never an ACD. So, long story short, here is what I have so far but I'm getting stuck on POS prompt - what does it mean and what am I supposed to type in there?

Below is the unit I'm copying and at the bottom is where I get the POS prompt after I type in the TN I want to use.

I tried to take it one day at a time, but a whole bunch of them attacked me at once!

As a general rule, most techs will tell you never copy an ACD phone. Always build them the long way. Some will tell you that you should never make a CHANGE to an ACD phone, they OUT them then rebuild them.

However, it's your system. The POS is where it is asking for the phone POSITION number. It will copy the DN of the first phone, you'll have to go back in and change it afterwards.

On Key 00 of the phone you're copying, it's like this:

Key # ACD-DN CLID List ACD Posiition
KEY 00 ACD 7351 0 7462

Are there any prerequisites for the ACD position? Should it simply be an available DN on your system (but probably not a DID) and unique to each set you build?

Cool Hand Luke said:

I was able to get the correct ACD position from an old DNB download. Matched it up to the TN where the DN originally resided. I had outed the DN about 4 months ago and removed the agent. Now all that's left is to add the new agent into contact center and rebuild the voicemail on call pilot.

Thanks for your help!!!! It's not easy getting a crash course in this!
