Trying to Build a TrxDimension Report ? 1

Hello,

I'm Trying to build a report usign Accounting Class
I have to Display the Accounts group by TrxDimensionCode
also I must show the Invoice Related to each group
as well as the expenses of each Account Class.

I do have the Following Files:
AAG00201,AAG00200,GL00100,GL00105 (Account Related)

SOP10102 - Its Showing me Invoices

My problems is: Which File is linking TrxDimensionCode with the Invoices?

Any Clues?

I don't have this module installed, but the GL20000 file (GL Open year detail) does have the invoice number in it (called ORDOCNUM). The GL20000 table has the ACTINDX field, which you could use to link.

I did check GL20000 File but What I'm trying to buid is this:


I want to display as header the Transaction Dimension Code
then for each TrxDimensionCode I need to display the Account Relatated to it.

This have to be my Group Header: aaTrxDimCode (AAG00401)
then This shall be my detail: A B A-B
AccountNumber Description Sale Exp GP
01-100-6100-000 Sales-Home-Glassware $$$ $$$ $$$
01-100-6200-000 Damages-Home-Glassware $$$ $$$ $$$
01-100-6300-000 Duties-Home-Glassware $$$ $$$ $$$

from all the Transaction Dimensions I have make a group for each aaTrxDimcode and the lookup for all the invoices related to it as well as the account this is to know all Expenses and Sales value

This is where the confusion lies ie if 01-100-6100-000 is a revenue account, how can it contain any expense entries? It sounds like you want to list the Dimension Code, total Revenue, Total expenses (for that Dim Code)?

But I have to group by the aaTrxDimCode

its possible to display any Expenses related to any invoice
Using the Transaction dimension Account.

There is a Journal Report and it shows the Accounts related to the a current invoice and for each account it display the Exp amount related.
Have you try some like that?
