Trying to access Display Properties, and I get this message. Any help

this operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer, I Know this was done under Admin but this is a personal pc not a work or school pc, and i need to get to the control panel

If you can run regedit go to

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies

And delete everything under there, that should sort it out. if you can't run regedit, then you need to make the account you are using an administrator to fix it easily.

As an Administrator, have a look at the Group Policy settings in
User Configuration/ Administrative Templates/ Control Panel/ Display
