try to make index with "......." between name and page number

right now I have my index looking like this:

Door Frames 242

I want it to look like this:

Door Frames.............242

in the "following topic" field in "generate index" i can just put a bunch of periods but that won't do, how do i do this correctly!? please help out

Investigate the tab palette or panel.

In the Table of Contents panel select More Options and choose right indent tab in the Between Entry & Number.
Put a period in the Leader box in the tabs panel.
