Trunks, trunk groups and routing help

Hello all. I am maintaining a Definity G3csiV9 system. I am having difficulties with trunks and routing.
If you have the patience read forward:)
Trunk group 1 has 15 trunks in it. Trunk group 1 is shown below:

Incoming destination of trunk group 1 is vdn 201. Vd 201 has cor 88 with frl 7.
Vdn 201 uses vector 4 to redirect incoming calls to trunk group 1 offsite. Vector 1 is shown below:

When I dial 9805654 (the first trunk in trunk group 1) from outside and do list trace tac 890 the output is:

I have several questions:

Why the call connects to member 12. Isn't it supposed to connect to member 1, which according to it's name is 980-5654?
Why when it chooses route pattern it includes the leading zero, which is for seizing a trunk?
What does the # at the end of the dialed number from the trace above?
Why it uses trunk group 6, member 1 for the call transfer?
What happens if some of the trunks in trunk group 1 are not available?


And most importantly... If I try to call the same number(9805654) again after the call to it is in progress the line rings somewhere - i.e. it doesn't give busy signal. I don't know where it rings, but I made trace to all tac's in the system and it doesn't ring in any of them. What gives?
 
What do you dial for ARS? The switch will choose a resource close to where you are calling from if it can to reduce TDM or IP resources in the switches backplane. ANd to reduce inter cabinet resources. You should be dialing your ARS code. The # sign usually signals end of dialing or the end of digits entered. It speeds up the call processing.
