I'm trying to get a PEG count on our 6 pri T1's and I'm using the ATRF command but I need to know what information to put in following fields

TYPE - ?
PORT - ?
INTERVAL - ?

START TIME: 5
START MIN: 00
END TIME: 17
END MIN: 00

START C_RT - ?
END C_RT - ?

Steve

ok heres the break down.

Type= What kind of monitoring do you want to do?
2 = route traffic
5 = route peg count
18 = connection route
19 = connection route peg

Port = Where you want it to go.
0-7 are the ports on the IOC card(s)
0 should be the MAT and 1,2,3 should be on the same card. 4-7 are on a second optional card that may be installed in the system.

Interval = how often the data is dumped to the capture terminal in 10 min intervals. if assigned as 0 then you must specify the start and end time

Start and stop times only if interval is set to 0

C_RT = your connection routes if you select 18 or 19 in type .

I hope this helps.

other programming you may want to look at is AIOC as well for additional port set ups (2400,8,n,1 Etc)

DR VuDu,

Thanks for the information

I have one more question. Once the report is completed does the file dump somewhere or will in appear in another window?

Steve

it will dump to the IOC port specified, at the programmed interval. if your doing peg counts I would clear down the counters before you start. you would have Hyperterm or PCPlus connected to the IOC port and turn on the logging function. Then when you are finished
a. disconnnect from the pbx.
b. close the log in the terminal program.
c. open the log up in a txt editor.
d. review the data.

this is for 3rd party monitoring. if you have an IMX/IPX you might want to try commands DTF105, and DTF102 and see if you cant get the info that way in the GUI.

Regards,

Dr VuDu

You may also use the IMX Mat for collecting the data.

1. connect the mat to the port indicated in programming.
2. Log in.
3. click the Scan new alarms/Traffic (Stopwatch icon).
4. data should be collected by the MAT for your use.

Regards,

Dr VuDu

Can the commands DTF601 and DTF602 give me the information Im looking for?

Steve

601 and 602 are connection route traffic. this is for Fusion CCS, CCIS, and tandem connections between switches. BTW if you want to look at fusion connections in real time use the FLNK command. for basic trunk use for volume of calls I would use 102 and 105.
