We have an S8300 R014 with a trunk group made up of three OPX lines from a Definity PBX accross town. These are analog loop start station lines from the Definity, and in the S8300 are built as a two way trunk group- WATS lines.
When a call comes in to the S8300 via these OPX lines, they often want to transfer the call back to a station in the Definity. If they use the regular transfer button, the call goes back over the same TG on a second member, but after the call the two trunks never disconnect and are hosed until the TG is busied and released.
Wondering if there is a way to:
a) get these to release properly
or
b) Program the station lines in the Definity end to signal differently so the S8300 see the call drop
or
c) Maybe add a timer to the trunk group so any call lasting longer than XX minutes is automatically disconnected (crude, but would probebly work in the short term).
or
