Ok, so I have the ISDN trunk configured, my signaling channel is done, and all my ports are in service and idle. My route pattern is set up to send the specific digits out over this new trunk and the FRL is lower than my station's COR. So, why is it that when I try to dial out over this new link, I get re-order tone?? Even when I dial the TAC ( I do have dial access set to yes) I get that dreaded "you're screwed" tone. The trunk's COR is the same as all my other trunks' COR to allow calls out and for some reason, I can not directly access this trunk. What have I overlooked???

Are there any features on the T-1 such as SDN, which would require you to modify the service feature fields in the route patterns? Also, have you checked with your service provider to make sure you have the right prefix mark on the route patterns

Could you check with the carrier, maybe the trunks are not relesed yet, (it happend me cuople times).
also you can dial very slow to see in wich part gives you the reorder tone..

Hi
May be other side drop your call because you don't send your calling number ?

Thanks everyone for your input, but I'm still stumped. As soon as I hit the last digit of my TAC, I get reorder tone. It's just like I'm trying to call out over a route with an FRL of 2 and my extension has an FRL of 1.

check in the ars analysis that in the call type field it is set to pubu.

It's an E-1, and yes it is configured for bi-directional communication. The call type for that trunk's route pattern is indeed set to pubu. For testing purposes, I changed the trunk type from ISDN to Tie. The distant end is still configured as an ISDN trunk. When I did that, the TAC worked and I could sieze a port.

Your FRL on the station must be higher than or equal to the FRL of the facility in orfer to use it, under your COR, you must have access to the COR od the facility. Lastly , you need to check your route patterns to make sure that you are not inserting or deleting anything or that you are adding the proper information to be sent out to the network

Let me first thank everyone for the input. My trunk was configured correctly. The distant end changed their parameters and my ports magically became in service and idle. When they let me know what they changed, I'll post it. Thanks again everyone.
