My customer has a PRI with a 40 DID's programmed into the system. The problem is this, occasionally people call in to the system and the phone just rings, and rings, and rings. The main DID is programmed to ring on all of the phones, about 30, so they would hear the phone ringing. I have tried to duplicate the problem, but of course it won't happen when a tech is around.

The local Telco is checking the problem on thier end, but any thoughts on what I need to check on my end? Any thoughts would be great.

i don't understand the question. Could you expand on that for me?

Matt

What version software do you have?

B-Channel Service Messaging could be causing problems. Be sure to ask the telco to turn it off.

Also, we had problems with the destination code for outbound calls. After changing it from "9" to "9Any", we've had no problems.

I'd suggest doing a keyword search on PRI. There are a suprising number of posts.

Good luck!

when you program the target line to set you have a progrmming option for occurences of target line make sure its more than "1"

I agree, upgrade the software to the latest version. There is a maintenance release due out at the end of this month. You might as well wait for it.

Hey Cowenby,

Could you speak more regarding maintenance release? Is that a patch or an additional SW release?
