Anyone have a clue on how to troubleshoot the cause of IIS crashing when it runs code inside a COM object? I have a DLL written in VFP that will run fine natively but will crash IIS when run from ASP. It uses some 3rd party code that I can't see so I can't boil down to the exact call that is causing the problem.

Are you able to insert some logging code to the COM DLL?

Logging is very difficult cause the lies in a black box 3rd party product. But I found the problem by installing the whole thing on a different PC and finding that it would work OK. So the problem was somehow my IIS configuration got messed up. I rolled it back about a month and it works!

Any thing written to the Event Log that might provide a clue?
