Troubles CFNA or Hunt Groups or Answer Keys 1

No Voice mail

Doctor wants 221 to Call Forward No Answer to 222, 223 and 224.

I setup Hunt Group (01 X727) with Members 222, 223, 224 (tried A&P and Ring Only)
CFNA 221 to 727

When testing soon as CFNA kicks in there is no ringing on the HG sets.
The call is now just flashing at 221 and caller still hears ringing.

So lets not use CFNA to HG, intead HG overflow to HG
I setup Hunt Group (01 X727) with Members 221 (tried A&P and Ring Only), Overflow 15 seconds to HG (02 X728)
I setup Hunt Group (02 X728) with Members 223, 224 (tried A&P and Ring Only)

So lets try CFNA again but with Answer DN's
I setup an Answer DN on 223 and 224 to answer 222 (A&P)
CFNA 221 to 222

When testing soon as CFNA kicks in there is no ringing on the Answer sets, only 222
The call is now just flashing at 221 and caller still hears ringing.

So lets try Prime and DRT instead of CFNA
I set DRT to Prime, 4 rings, each Line the Prime set is 222.
When testing soon as DRT kicks in there is no ringing on the Answer sets, only 222
The call is now just flashing at 221 and caller still hears ringing.

At this point I want to run over the CICS with my truck.....then backup over it.

I ended up programming Service Modes to save his system from a gruesome death.

I get some issues with HG's and lines on HG sets but this setup should have still worked, as well the rest.....no??????????

I assume when you used the HG you:

a. Removed lines from all the sets.
b. Assigned the lines to HG 1
c. Used Broadcast HG

For the ANS DN method to work you need to set ANS DN to ENHANCED.

a. Removed lines from all the sets. - Cannot recall if complete removal but Appear Only for sure
b. Assigned the lines to HG 1 - Yes
c. Used Broadcast HG - Yes

I forgot about Enhanced.
