I have VB6 and CR7 and am finding that data gets truncated on some of my reports under XP that are fine under W98.

In some cases I get only one record showing on the report.

Are there any know problems in moving over to XP? If so, what do I do about it?

Thanks for any suggestions. David Abineri

Your best course of action is to:

(a) revert back to Windows 98

(b) upgrade your software to Crystal Reports 9 and Microsoft .NET (out with the old, in with the new) - they will both work under XP

HI,

Is there now other way to work around VB6, CR7 and WindowsXP compatibility problems?

Thanks!

Our site has gone from Windows NT to Windows XP for Crystal 8.5. I found some things were different, in part because the defaults had changed. (Check [Options] under [File]. the [Fields] tab lets you define some values.

Re-work until it comes right, I figure.

I have tried changing the default values under option, but that didn't work. It kept changing it to a different font than what I set it to. (As I said I am using CR7) I have read that only 8.5 and later versions were actually tested with XP, but I figured, maybe someone got it to work with earlier versions.

Thanks!
