Ok we have office 97 running a a few Windows 2000 and 98 machines. At this point when the users go to the file menu and look at the list of tiles they have opened. They find several files that they don't remember opening. Some of these are located in a folder named olk and then various numbers. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

More accurately, they opened the documents via Outlook. If you do not use Outlook, well, this does not occur.

Not only that, but actual copies of the files are kept in the OLKnumbernumber folder under the Document and Settings/username/Local Settings/Temporary Internet Files. Real copies, not just pointers.

Thanks guys, this one really had me stumped.
