I am trying to install a dual monitor system that I have done before on an older system, using two seperate video cards, one agp and another pci. the agp a geforce fx5200 and the pci is a mx4000. Each card works perfectly when the other is detached but i cannot seem to get them both to work at the same time, yet i know it is possible because i know someoone with similiar (all geforce) products that have gotten his to work. On his system and my older system, I have activated the pci card to be the primary in bios and then set the agp card to be the primary through windows and after enabeling, the dual display get extended. The trouple now is that when i enamble the PCI card to start in bios, nothing is displayed (when the agp is also hooked up). Windows could start with no boot screen is seen and the AGP will kick in once windows starts but still nothing from the pci. I`m wondering if it is the bios (recently flashed to F9, chipset, IRQ setting, power supply or something else. Thanx Dennis

Hi dennis8844,
My understanding is that you need a dual head video card to enable dual monitor. I would very much interested to know how your friend managed to get 2 video cards to work on a single system.

Could you post back how your friend get it to work pls?

Regards
