Hi,

I'm having a problem whith Win98. I have developed an application with access2000 under win2000.

In the application I need to take photos from a folder and put them in the database.

In order to let the user get them from the folder he/she wants I use a commondialog object. Under win2000 it works perfect, but when I try to execute the program under win98 and I attempt to insert a photo, the program tells me that is "unable to activate/initiate the directX object".

Any help?

Thanks,

Moroeh

Have a look at the references of your VB project. I suppose that the commondialog reference is missing (different location in W98/W2000).
You should also have a look at the OLE related articles in the ACCESS online encyclopedia (
