While PageMaker 6.5 seems to run OK on XP, users other than administrators seem to lock up while using the program. Has anyone experienced a similar problem?

Sandy, PM6.5 is not certified for XP. It can run, but you have seen the difficulties. It must be installed under admin or under the user's name that will use it, and that user MUST be given admin privileges for the install. You can then demote that user to a power user after install, and you should get by. You may have problems creating PDF. Best bet is to spend the $70 for an upgrade and run PM7.0 which was designed for W2K & XP. When in doubt, deny all terms and defnitions.
