Can someone help me out here. I tried adding a printserver to one of our sites but it is not going as smoothly as i anticipated. for some strange reason it is not pulling the correct IP address or Subnet Mask and Gateway address. Ive tried resting the device a million times but it will not budge. It is pulling an IP address (the wrong one) but when i try to ping it i get some timeouts and some replys, it is very inconsistent. does anyone know what could be the cause. the site is setup a little strange but works. we have a cisco router with a linksys router connected to it. the linksys hub has 3 pc's connected to it. then we have a belkin hub uplinked to the linksys router. the printserver is connected to the belkin. any help is appreciated.

hi,
You are configuring this Pserver under which Operating System? If under(98,ME or 2000)use the 'win9x_nt'or 'ptp'driver from the setup disc or install the Bi-admin under WinXP.Once the Bi-Admin detected the Pserver, assign it with a Static IP,netmask and Gateway.

Then proceed on adding the Printer using the Standard TCP/IP...Hopes this help.

its running Server 2000. i cant use the disc because its not even picking it up. i cant access the PS through the web and i can barely ping it.

I believe that Linksys doesn't have yet any PS Driver/Bi-Admin that supports 2003.It only supports up to XP.
