CS1000 Avaya 7.5 release,on an IP flex service. when users try to send faxes out the fax machine on the outside will answer and give one beep (initiating the handshake), then immediately disconnect the call. the timer on my phone shows this call disconnect, like their fax machine is choosing to just hang up.
calling from my cellphone the fax machine answers and tries multiple handshake attempts before ending the call.
we can receive from outside, and send/receive from internal. but sending fax outside our PBX is disconnecting.
any ideas to try? Ive tried modem pass thru - MPTA and D
