Hi,

It seems that one of our pc's has this trojan, at least Norton says so, we followed Norton's instructions to remove it without any luck. I tried googling it and got NO matches, has anybody here heard or encountered this ?

Thanks in advance

We can move over to the Virus thread, but here is what I would try 1st of all...

Ewido and Spysweeper should be ran for malware and trojans. Get them first and take care of it, then hit it with virus sweeps.

Webroot Spysweeper

Download it here:

Webroot Spysweeper 14 day Trial

Update the defs and do a sweep.

Also check this out:

Ewido download:

Update it and run a complete scan.

I would also check it with some other virus scanners just to make sure.

Best regards.

Erik

I'll ask the person that's in charge of the cleanup to do so. I'm in the dba and web development department, but they know that I'm pretty good at searching the web for problem solving so they asked for my help and I have been forwarding to them everything I've found out, unfortunately I'm not allowed to do the "real" cleanup (bummer, isn't it? but have to go with the department policies)
