OK I have a question I am getting this error and it is not followed by the same trunks everytime...

These are ground start trunks

CO trunk Short Hold. An unacceptably large percentage of calls on
the trunk were held for a short period. The failure to hold applies to
trunks that are properly seized but disconnected sooner than the
minimum hold time. The time a trunk is held, allowing the user to dial
a directory number, can be set from 0 to 128 s in increments of
two seconds.
1. This message can be caused by a telephone user dialing the trunk
access code, releasing and repeating this action several times
in succession.
ACTION: Check for trunk users dialing the access code and quickly
releasing the call before dialing digits.
2. If messages come from several tns.
ACTION: Refer to the administration input/output guide, use LD 20
TNB to determine the route for the CO trunks and LD 21 RDB
to determine the present HOLD setting. Contact your engineering
section for the correct HOLD setting. Use LD 16 if the setting of the
HOLD prompt needs to be corrected.
3. If messages come from one tn.
ACTION: Replace the CO trunk card following the steps in the
Hardware replacement

Ok are you saying the Trunk Cards in the switch or the Telephone company central office. It is happening on like 4 out of 5 of my COT trunks cards.....

So out of 12 TNS

5 TN's on 4 cards

Thats sounds like an issue in the Telco CO, I would have a test completed and verify its not your side, but more chance with 5 its on the Telco side.

That is what I am saying

This issue is going on right now and am trying to work it, what more can I do on my side to test things?

So lets say they Telco CO diconnects from switch and makes calls but they go through???

Just thinking forward........

Scratch that thought the first trunk failed with them connected with just their butt set
