Hi,

Hope you can help. I have a database working fine on 7 PCs. However on the 8th PC the user cannot run any report with the 'Trim=' function in it. When I run the report I am asked for a value for Trim as if it were a parameter.

I have written the database in Access XP. 7 of the users (including myself) use Access XP. The 8th user has Access 2000. This is the only big difference.

I have updated all the service packs on the 8th PC and made site that Office is up to date. But still I cannot get the reports to work. This is now turning me insane.

Can any one save my sanity and help me!

Hi

I would suspect a missing reference to an object library

Open any code module in design view and choose Tools \ References from the menu, look for any selected object libraries which have 'MISSING' alongside them, I would suspect in your case the Office object library, deselct it and look down the list to find it, then select it again
becuase you are switching Access2002 / Access2000 you will probably find version number of the libary is slightly different
