Hi
I created 2 queue managers on differet machine NT network);
QM1 and QM2. QM1 can send a message to QM2 via a remote queue.

For the response to this message I create and application that GET from the local and then put onto a transmission queue that has same name as the queue manger QM1.

This transmission has a trigger with the name of the sender channel QM2.QM1 on the trigger date field.
The name of the reply queue that will receive a message at QM1 is on the message descriptor and the name of the reply to queue manger too.

When I lauch this, the response message always go to the SYSTEM.DEAD.LETTER.QUEUE.

The channel initiator and the listner are lauched.

What did I do wrong.

Thanks in advance.

Cal

Did you sender and receiver channel set correctly? Try to ping to you destination network? If you able to ping to your QM2 machine then your connection if alright else there is something wrong with your channel creation.

hi cal,

did u define remoteq in qm2? this remoteq on qm2 will actually point to the localq at qm1 to receive a reply from qm2.
