Trial version of IDS

After using IDS for 4 years, I changed company 18 months ago. I'd like to get a test version to re-acquaint myself with IDS. I've looked around but I can't see even a time-limited version of IDS out there. Does anyone know if there one available for either Windows or Linux? I don't really want to approach IBM directly as the old Informix sales people were very hard to get rid of.

I wonder if IBM deliberately don't make it available so that people are discouraged from testing it, thus making it more likely they will go for DB2/UDB.

There is a download of IDS for Linux & Win2k available on the IIUG website, however you need to be a member.

Goto

http://www.iiug.org,

join up, go to the Member Area, then Downloads.
