Hope someone can help with this. We use Officescan version 7.0 and we noticed that 1000 PCs had gone missing from the web console and most others were offline. I have followed several documents from the Trend (awful) web site but could not get the PCs to register again as agents in the console. These docs suggested running ipxfer to get the client registered.
I have now re-installed Officescan on the 2003 box with identical settings and still cannot get clients to register.

Any ideas??

Were there any net-work wide changes made just prior to this occurrence? If it worked fine before, but not now, I'm thinking it must've been some sort of network change that's causing the problem.

Not that i am aware of and I'm assured by the network people that nothing has changed.

Another reason to rule out network problems is I've discovered today that it is XP clients that won't register. I've pushed Officescan to a couple of test 2003 servers that I have and they registered in the console straight away.
The port number for the Office Scan listener is open on the XP firewall as well.
