Hi,

i'm using AI CS2 and i had a trouble with an object with 15% opacity. Everytime i save a pdf from this file it print white instead of blending with the background. I supose the problem is because the background and the object have spot colors, but i don't know how to fix it. I have to mention that there were no problem when i printed the ai file, only when i saved as pdf.

thanks.

Have you tried selecting the object and choosing "multiply" from the drop down list in the transparency palette? (top LH corner)

Might work...

It didn't work. In fact, i can solve this reducing the percentage of the pantone used on the background in the object. So, i'd have a 100% spot background bellow a 30% spot object. But i just wanted to know what happened with the transparency in the pdf, cause i've already have this problm before.
Anyway, thanks for the help.
