I have a problem where I can't match the flash object's background color to the color of my html in the page.

Can I make the background around the images and text transparent so it actually looks like the same color?

Also - are there any easy ways to match the background of html with the background of flash besides this?
Thanks!

Easy way to match 'em...open up your flash page...if the code has a hexidecimal format for the color, you can input that into the fill section when you select your background, and should match the color...

Another way to do it, if you dont even know what hexidecimal is or much html coding, open the html page, resize flash so you can see the background of it behind flash, and then select your background layer...click and hold the fill icon and drag it over and you should get an eyedropper tool...just hover it over the color, and it should be all good from there.

Cool - I have done that in the past, but when I view it with different gamma settings on different computers I can see a major difference - especially on MACs vs PCs...

Yea, for some reason I've gotten that too on a lot of machines...I have no idea why, I BELIEVE it is the color settings...(ya know, high color, true color (24, and 32bit)??)

Maybe you could try different settings in color resolutions...but yea, I know exactly what your saying, I've gotten that same problem, but the only way I've found around it is video card settings, or doing what I just suggested...
