I have an imbedded raster image in my file. This raster image is definitely transparent and I want to make it less transparent than it is currently. But I can't because opacity box in the transparency pallet says 100%. The transparency is not grouped with any other object and yet the Document Info box says it is part of a Transparency Group. If I "select all" and look at the Object pull-down menu, Ungroup is grayed out.

Any ideas on how to get this raster to be less transparent?

Thanks,

Solution: Open the layer palette. Click to display all parts of the layer the irritating object is on. Choose the object from the layers pallette by clicking the radio button next to the object's name in the layer pallette. Make sure that is the only object selected. Cut and Paste-in-front the object to disassociate the object with any other objects. Now the opacity controls should work fine.

Copying an object from a group will include the copy in the original group. It's possible the object was masked or part of a compound object.
