Transitioning from SL100to 61C

Hi,
I have a SL1 upgraded to Meridian 1 Option 61C Release 24, also use Octel 250 Aria 3.0 for voicemail. My company has been advised to migrate from the SL1 to just the 61C as we definitely have the room on the 61C and the systems are grandfathered together. My supervisor and department head wants me to go ahead and proceed with this.

I have all the upgraded books from when our pbx was upgraded in 1998/9 yet have not had time to read through them all since I also support desktop engineering and web development.

My question is this: are there any recommended tutorial cds from Global Knowledge that I should order to find out just what I am getting into? Moving the users and 500/modem sets are easy - it's the core setup I'm concerned about.

Wow,
You have been chosen to do a tidious task. Do you have a vendor? The reason you have to upgrade to IPE shelfs is because Nortel 3.0 Succession will not support the SL1 Hardware. Also you have to upgrade your software to 25.40B in order to get to Succession. Give me some more detail on the parts that you have to upgrade. I can steer you in the right direction from there........
