Transformer 7.3 Measure value decreases when adding more dimensions

Hi,

I am havnig a really weird issue. I have stripped a cube down to it's bare minimum, a single iqd. If I build the cube with a date dimension and a single measure, my measure reconciles perfectly against the database. If I add another column as a dimension from the same iqd, the measure value decreases!

Any ideas anyone?

Does the added column (as dimension) store null values?

Good point. I have now coded around that and it is still reducing the measure value. It can be various fields added as dimensions not just one particular field

Did you analyze where you are missing data? In other words, did you take the output of the 2 dimensions with the measure and rolled that up to the dates comparing it with the analysis of measure+date. Can you detect a pattern where data is missing/lower than expected?
