transferring outlook express

I have a copy of my old disk drive. I want to get the express messages off of it and put them on my new hard drive. Any ideas on how to do it?

you should be able to install the old drive as a second drive, and in Outlook express you would import your contact list and folders (messages) using the import feature. It is a wizard under FILE > IMPORT > choose what you want, then follow the wizard.

I remember last time I did this it did seem to work pretty well, as long as the folders are the standard assigned ones that were set-up by Outlook, or at least they were inside the same structure.

Thanks, that worked. When I did it I browed to a dir too deep. You just point it at windows/appl./outlook. I orginally pointed it at the next directory, mail.
