I have an IPO server and 8 v2 chassis
So far only our receptionist is logging into the server and all other phones log into the V2s
On my server that reception logs into I have a short code that is supposed to transfer to voicemail but its not working correctly
currently on her 9608 she hits the transfer button then enters #xxxx and transfer again. When she does this it transfers to the auto attendant asking for ext+# key. On my 9608 logging into a v2 I can dial #xxxx and it goes right to my voicemail to leave a msg.

SC #xxxx
Feature VMcollect
Number "#N"

Its identical on my v2 except there isn't " " wrapping #N

TIA
Wayne

It should be "#"N

Why not do the receptionist a big favor & give her soft-console?

The 'F3' key is transfer to VM (if she really wants she doesn't even need to answer the ringing call first!)

+ lots of other benefits.

based on the description this is hardly a "tin pot" company with a small system so the cost should be negligible compared to the rest of the system

Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

Shortcodes act on the local system only, so it can't match the expansion extns, use the message button or Soft Console :)
