I have to perform a few tweaks on my current setup, and im having a bit of trouble getting the code to work properly. The way the code is set currently, an entire screen's worth of data is captured in attachmate and transferred to a separate dump area in excel. My problem is that i need a very specific set of numbers to be transferred from a date field in attachmate to another dump area in excel. all the methods ive tried so far have failed. if anyone can help, and you want to look at the existing code prior to modification, i can post it, just dont have access from my home pc.

Try using the .Screen.Area(startrow, startcol, endrow, endcol) function. Set the startrow and endrow to the row on the AttachMate screen where the date is, set the startcol to the starting column, and set the endcol to the ending column.

Hi,

"My problem is that i need a very specific set of numbers to be transferred from a date field in attachmate to another dump area in excel."

Well that takes a very specific set of code instructions, doesn't it?

Without more specific requirements, you cannot expect to receive specific suggestions.

Please post the specifics of your requirement, including your current code that fails to do what you specifically want.
