Is it possible to set up a conference call on a digital phone and transfer the conference to an analog device (polycom)?

Is there a limit to how many parties can be on the call transferred from the digital phone to the analog polycom? Can I transfer a full 6 party conferece call?

5 outside (PSTN based callers) and six total (If you include one non PSTN based call i.e. internal ext.

can you do that with 1 call appearence on an analog set?

No, the most that you can conference on analog is 3. The set you are on + 2 internal or external calls using the flash feature, more than that requires a digital transfer of a multi-party conference call.

Sorry I didn't see this sooner. You can conference up to 6 members without using a bridge.

All you need to do is set up the conference on a digital set with multiple call-appearances and conference the polycom in as one of the members. Once all parties are connected, including the polycom, mute the digital set or unplug the handset.

(You can put the digital set on hold if you don't have music on hold set up.)

I do this all the time with polycoms and it works out well.

velcrobomb,

That way you only get 5 parties, becuase your polycom and digital count as 2.

The best way is to conference everybody on the digital phone and transfer to the polycom, that way you get 6 including yourself. The way you explained you get 5, becuase you are using 2 connections.
