I've check documentation and tried several methods - transfer, placing call on hold but an unable to send a conference call from the internal originator to another extension.

Scenario is assistant originates conference call then allow the boss to takeover the call.

Is this possible?

MICS XC 7.1

Thanks

Not that I'm aware of. That would like trying to add a 4th connection.

Not directly.

The assistant needs to transfer (hold and park also work) the two calls separately. Then, the boss will be able to create the conference at his set. The assistant could also setup the conference at the boss' set.

If you try to transfer a conference, you are either removed from the conference (if one of the external calls is incoming and disconnect supervision is enabled on that line) or the transfer is denied.

If you try to put a conference on hold, it can only picked up at the set where the conference was established. It is like using the Exclusive Hold feature.
