Transferred Calls Not Logged Avaya IP500 5420

We have an issue where a call that is transferred is only being logged as the extension it is forwarded from.

For example, a call is answered by extension 100 and transferred to extension 301, the call log on 301 only shows that the transferred call was from 'ext 100' and not from the original number. The call log on extension 100 does not log the original call AT ALL because it was transferred.

Any ideas if this is fixable or adjustable? Haven't found anything through searching around the net.

We need the recipient of a transferred call to have an accurate log in case a call back is necessary.

Our setup is as follows:
pbx: IP500 4.2 (4)
phones: 5420D REL:5.00
