Transfering calls on compact ics 7.0 2

I have looked at feature codes for norstar and cannot find how to do a centrex flash on norstar system.I am not all that familiar with nortel equipment as I am 99% Avaya trained. Can anyone please help?
I have done the f70 and release but does not seem to work.

Thanks for the info senk1s. f71 works great on a 4 digit transfer to another centrex # but I can't transfer to a non centrex #. I have tried f70 91xxx-xxx-xxxx and f71 91xxx-xxx-xxxx. local calls or long didtance calls won't go. I either get a fast busy after dialing or an "invalid" on the display.
Does anyone have a suggestion.

No, I can dial the numbers direct from the telephones just not thru a transfer

is it like a closed user group or you can link and transfer to anyone

What gives you a busy and what gives you invalid.

F70 is Transfer
F71 is Link

For a Centrex Transfer you only need F71

Senk1s is asking if your Centrex provider (TELCO) has external Transfer blocked....have you called them yet?.

The lines were restricted by the carrier. Once they removed restrictions,everything worked fine. My thanks to senk1s and curlycord.
