Can anyone tell me if it is possible to have calls transfer between two different audix systems using auto attendant?
I have one Intuity audix connected to a G3RV9 using auto attend and one G450 with a S8300 imbeded audix VM and I need any calls that come in over the old intuity auto attnd to transfer to the G450 phones and then have the call go to the new audix vm box if there is no answer.
I have been looking through the old posts but can't find anythnig to address this problem.

I'm hoping there is a way to link the two Audix systems with out too much trouble.

What you're describing does not involve networking vmails. You just need the audix to transfer the call, which send it to the local R9 switch, then UDP sends the call to the CM. It's a new call on the CM at that point and will follow that station's coverage into CMM.

Thanks for the resonse lopes1211,

I think I am missing somthing else now. I followed your advise and it now transfers fine when a call goes through the auto attnd prompts. But it fails when someone tries to enter the persons ext directly from the Audix on the R9 side. Any ideas?

The transfer restriction in the Intuity is more than likely set up as "subscribers", meaning it will only allow transfers to extension numbers that have a mailbox. If you don't have the ability to change that restriction, you would have to build dummy mailboxes for each of the G450 phones in the Intuity.

Leave it at subscribers other wise you will open it up for toll fraud, the other option is transfer to digits and if you make that change then only Avaya can change it back for you, at least that's how it was on the older systems.

Ok thanks everyone for the help. I will try to change the subscriber and see if that works. I appreciate the info!
