Transfered calls go directly to voicemail after 1 ring

When calling extension 11, it rings once and then goes to voicemail. I have checked settings but I can't seem to find why. If I call the extension from another phone it does the same. Any suggestions?

You may also want to check the setting for ABBREVIATED RING #305 on extention 11 it should be set to off

Hi ttech,
Abbreviated ring only comes into play if you are already on a call and a second call comes in. I normally turn it off at reception positions.
Another thought, I've never tried this. What if X11 was forwarded to a vm extension or hunt group 7? It would give a partial ring once, I'm not sure what would happen next. Try Feature 11, 11 11. That would cancel the forward.

All forwarding and voice mail ring setting have been checked. I can make calls from the phone ok

Okay, the only thing I can think of is station wiring. Plug the phone directly into the port on the switch and try again. Also, try another phone in that position. If this doesn't do it, then corrupted programming on the switch is the last thing I would suggest.
Did the system always do this or what happened just before this started?
