Transfer VPN User Info

I am in the process of changing ISP & upgrading from 4.1 to NG. At the moment I have both firewalls running with the new NG install going onto a new server.

Is there anyway I can transfer the User database or even some sort od Export/Import? The only way I can see of doing it just now is to retype all users. This will be a long job and they will loose all their passwords?

I have had the same issue. Checkpoint has not thought about this nor are there plans to implement in FP3..per CP support.

You can use the following command to export your user database to a text file, then use the file to import your database into NG. However, you'll need to create a new gorups and reassign password, etc.

"fw dbexport -f filename.txt"

Thanks I got them out of 4.1 no problem but how do I import them? The fw command looks different in NG! I dont see dbimport.
