MY shortcode for transferring to voicemail (#xxxx #N voicemail collect) worked great in our IP 500s but doesnt on my IPO server
When my receptionist transfers to voicemail using Transfer, #ext, complete it goes to the AA however its like dialing *17

server is version 9.1.6

TIA

Wayne

The shortcode should be

#XXXX
Voicemail Collect
"#"N

Otherwise check vmdebug what happens in VM Pro.

Hi Janni
On the IPO server the SC does include the quotes

Voicemail Collect should only be available in the Solution area.

This works on my SE

If it doesn't on yours, do a Monitor trace when dialing the shortcode.

I have it working or Server 9.1.8 for sure
If you create the shortcode the quotes are set wrong and you have to manually adjust it
"#N" is what the system does and you have to move it to look like Janni's "#"N

Thanks Westi
That was the exact cause. Nothing like QA from Avaya!!!!!!

if you spoke to Avaya they would probably have told you that the Docs say #<username>

& that using the extn number is undocumented therefore not supported (even though it has worked form somewhere around V2.1)!

Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear
