Transfer issues

Useing and IP Office 500v2, 1 combo card with line card DS(1-6) Phone(7-8) Lines(9-12). with 5 1416 phones in Basic partner mode.

The issue iam having is that before a couple of days ago, when a person(ext10) transfers an external call to another extension(ext11), the were able to press transfer and hangup the handset and the call would be transfered the the desired extension. Now if you hit transfer and hang up. it puts the call on hold, Now if you wait for the extension you want to transfer to pick up before hanging up the call will be transferd. is there a setting that iam missing.
 
Are they giving it enough time to ring first? After you press transfer, it must ring once (letting you know the connection to the extension has been created) before you hang up. If you hang up prior to giving the system time to create the connection it will drop that connection and indeed put the caller on hold versus transferring the call.
 
hi James991985, may i know what is the version of your IP office? here's mine. 9.0.200.860. i think we have the same issue.
 
Yes, I have tried letting it ring once and then 4 or 5 times and each time it will put the call on hold instead of transferring unless the extension iam transferring to picks up and then I hang.

I found away around it by hitting transfer *EXT and then I can just hangup and this works, but it use to work by just pushing transfer and then the EXT and then just hangup.

The version iam using is 9.0.0.829
 
No transfer, extension, transfer does not complete the call. I want to be able hit the transfer button, dial the extension and hang up and have it be completed.
 
You mean a blind transfer. We don't generally play around with Basic mode here so you may have discovered a feature of basic mode and another reason to steer clear of it.

The feature was working correct in basic mode, It is recently that this feature stopped working.
 
Have you tried rebooting the system? Sounds like a bug but reboot and see if it clears it temporarily.
