Admin's can't transfer calls into audix. The transfer to audix access code is # 0. When the admin hits transfer button, #, 0 - she hears error tone. Does something else need to be set to allow call transfers into audix?
I believe that you have to have received the call from being in the cover path of the principle, and you must have a digital link to a Avaya audix system. ( meaning transfer to audix will not work with 'mode code intergration.)
The calls are a bridged appearance on the admin's phone. She answers the call from the bridged line and transfers to vm. Works at one location and not the other location (different PBX). Location where is works has mode-code = n.
It appears that U are using mode code integration, so 'transfer to audix' can not be used. U can convert to link intergration, but U will have to have the software installed and the hardware if not already there.
1027,
Try using a goto cover button. So the Admin's will press transfer, dial the extension number, press goto cover, and press transfer again. This should send the caller directly to the users first point of coverage. Obviously this will only work if voicemail is the first point of coverage.
Transfer into Audix does not work with bridged extensions. The go-to cover is the way to go. Transfer into Audix will work if the call is received via call pickup.
We do transfers to voicemail(#0) all the time on bridged appearances. You need to have at least 2 buttons bridged in order for the transfer to take place, otherwise there won't be a line to complete the transfer.
