I have Avaya SIP 9621G Phones connecting with Alcatel OmniPCX Call server

when we transfer the call from Avaya Phone-A to any Avaya-B or Alcatel Phone.

In Avaya Phone-A transfer is happening once press "complete" button but in the display on Phone-A still showing in conversation after 1 mins 20 sec it showing in the phone display as"Transfer completed"

Any suggestions experts ?

You seem like you got stuck with a office of Avaya phones and someone wants that to work on your Alcatel PBX because everything is SIP so it should all just work :)

Try this setting maybe?

## PROVIDE_TRANSFER_TYPE provides the call transfer type in 3rd party environments.
## No meaning for Avaya environment
## Value 0 or 1 (default 0)
## SET PROVIDE_TRANSFER_TYPE 0
##
## CALL_TRANSFER_MODE determines the call transfer mode in 3rd party environments.
## Value 0 or 1 (default is 0)
## SET CALL_TRANSFER_MODE 0

But, I've got a question for you! Why are you doing this? The Avaya SIP phones support basic SIP up to a point, but I'd strongly recommend very detailed testing and have that 46xxsettings.txt file locked down and carved in stone to be able to guarantee predictable behaviour. If you're playing in a lab because you happen to have Avaya phones, then go wild and change stuff, but if this is a production environment, you shouldn't be having these questions this far into the game!

I tried but the call getting transferred after the call gets transferred again from the extension where the transfer got initiated still showing in conversation also after 1 mins 12 sec it shows “Transfer compelted” and the line is busy until it shows the message
