I am using XP's remote desktop for a connection, I tried to copy and paste files as well as drag files from one computer to another and it did not work. Is there any way to transfer files through remote desktop?

Check out thread779-673747 for some info

When you initiate the RD connection on the client, use Options, Local Resources tab, make sure 'local disk drives' is checked. Once you connect, you will find your local drives listed in the remote's My Computer. Working entirely with the drives and folders on the remote host, drag and drop files like normal.
