Transfer calls to cell phone

I am working with a Merlin Legend 7.0 v10.0 and we don't have a manual. I know how to transfer a phone call in house but how do I transfer a phone call to someones cell phone?

If you are not restricted from doing so: Just press Transfer, the "9" for your outside line, then the rest of the telephone number. Wait until you hear it begin to ring and then you can either hang-up or press transfer again.

Or are you trying to Forward a call outside vs. in-house?

I tried to transfer then press 9 for outside number and when the person I am trying to transfer to answers the phone I hang up my phone. As soon as I hang up the phone it rings with the person that had called, the one I was trying to transfer, and the person I was trying to transfer to lost the connection. There must be a way of doing this. Any other suggestions?

If you have POTS lines, you may have to enable Trunk to Trunk Transfer. This is assigned on a per extension basis through either WinSPM or the Main Console. Menu, Sys Prog, Exit, Extensions, More, More, TrkTransfer, then enter the extension you want to give the privilage to. Remember, this is a security risk since anyone can then transfer a call wherever off the system so I would only give the priviledge to those who really need it.

Make sure ls disconnect is set to yes under lines/trunks.
