Hi,

I need to setup a phone transfer so if a call is coming to reception "DN 5000", and no body answers after 3 rings, it's automatically transfered to other DN 5100. If 5100 doesn't answer after 3 rings the call is directed to 5000's mailbox.

Can any body help me with that, and tell me in which load i can setup each parameter.

Thank you in advance.

Sorry i forgot to specify that i have a Meridian1 Option11C

Thank you

Hi

It depends if you have a digital or analog station

for digital you programm:

cls fna sfa
fdn 5100
rco X (0,1,2) this the ringing cicle

for analog you programm:

cls fna sfa
ftr fdn 5100
rco X (0,1,2) this the ringing cycles

for programming the numbers of ringing
goto to LD 15:

change de ringing cycles:

CFN0 1-(4)-15 Number of normal ringing cycles for CFNA, Option 0 (rco 0)
CFN1 1-(4)-15 Number of normal ringing cycles for CFNA, Option 1 (rco 1)
CFN2 1-(4)-15 Number of normal ringing cycles for CFNA, Option 2 (rco 2)

regards,

Levis

Hi,

1. Change the number of ring cycles for Forward No Answer:
LD 15
CHG
RDR
CFN2 3
DFN2 3

2. Set the phone sets configuration:
LD 10(for analogue) or 11(for digital set)
CHG
type of line
TN ....
CLS FNA SFA
FDN 5100 (for 5000 phone) and <MMail no.> (for 5100)
RCO 2

If i change cfn0 on ld 15, is it gonna be changed for all DNs setup with RC0??

The forward from 5000 to 5100 works after 4 rings, then it doesn't stop ringing on 5100 even if it's setup for FDN 7000 (mailbox #), and RCO 0 (same as fo 5000).

any idea??

In the CLS of the set (5100), change to SFA. This should allow the set to forward a second time.

The other thing you might want to do, even though it may not be needed, is add 5100 as a message DN to the mailbox for 5000.

Hope this helps,

Scott M.

Check:

1.
LD 15
FTR
OPT MCI

2. Phone sets
LD 11
...
CLS MWA

Maybe these help

YES

Just pick one that already matches what you need.
Print the CDB to see which one you need to use.

yes, those need to be set and left alone, i have mine set at 3 5 and 7.. that's the only choice i give my users. if i was to change rco 0 (default) i would get 1000's of complaints... anytime your in the cdb, your working on the complete customer.. tread lightly
