Transfer caller direct to a mailbox

Hello everyone
I have a new IPO w/8.0.18 and M series phones. I can't find anywhere
that says how to transfer a caller directly to someones mailbox. I know on the 14xx series you would press the message button plus the extension number and the call goes.

Build a shortcode

#2XX where 2XX is the 200 range.
voicemail collect
N
Line id 0

Then transfer to #XXX
Job done.

I set up the short code. When I answer an incoming call I press tranfer and dial #278 press complete. The voicemail thinks the caller is the user and asks for extension number and password.

Are you running voicemail in intuity mode?

I have no experience at aal with intuity mode but do you need it?
Otherwise you could set it to IPO mode.
But i think there must be a solution for this but i don't know it.

Got it working, what I did was

#XXX
voicemail collect
"#"N
LG 0

Transfer # plus extension, press complete(complete shows up in display)

 

[1043]

code = #2XX
feature = voicemail collect
telephone number = 2N#

Then

1. When you hit enter (it will put quotations aroung the number).

2. Change the feature to voicemail node and hit enter.
(Quotations will disappear)

3. Change feaure back to voicemail collect and hit enter. (Quotations will not come back)

4. save config.
